Fullerene Inc. (the “Company”) recognizes the protection of personal information as an important responsibility and is committed to protecting such information in accordance with the following policy.
1. Compliance with Applicable Laws, Regulations, and Guidelines
The Company shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and all other applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, and shall ensure that this Privacy Policy is communicated to all employees.

The Company shall acquire personal information by lawful and fair means and only to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use set forth in Section 3 below.
The personal information acquired by the Company may include information that can identify a specific individual, such as name, address, telephone number, email address, occupation, and other similar information.
3. Purposes of Use of Personal Information
The Company shall use personal information acquired by it for the following purposes:
- to perform and provide M&A brokerage services, related advisory services, business valuation services, consulting services, and any other services provided by the Company (collectively, the “Company Services”);
- to improve or enhance the content of the Company Services, or to develop new services;
- to provide information regarding the Company Services, send materials, and respond to inquiries and applications;
- to prepare survey and research materials related to the Company Services;
- to request cooperation in questionnaires, interviews, and similar activities relating to the Company Services, to provide information regarding various events, to accept applications for such events, and to report the results thereof;
- to conduct solicitations, advertising, and other marketing activities, including the measurement of advertising effectiveness, in relation to the Company’s products and services, tailored to customers’ interests and preferences based on analysis of customer attributes and usage history of the Company Services; and
- to conduct recruitment screening activities for candidates who apply for employment with the Company, and to manage and improve the Company’s recruitment processes.
4. Disclosure or Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company shall not disclose or provide personal information to any third party without the prior consent of the customer (including job applicants; the same shall apply hereinafter), except in the following cases:
- such disclosure or provision is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the relevant individual;
- such disclosure or provision is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the relevant individual;
- such disclosure or provision is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local government, or a person entrusted thereby in the performance of duties prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the relevant individual is likely to impede the performance of such duties; or
- otherwise permitted by laws and regulations.
5. Security Management of Personal Information
The Company shall manage personal information appropriately and securely and shall implement appropriate security control measures against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, and unauthorized access.
6. Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information
If a customer wishes to request disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or other handling of his or her own personal information, the customer may make such request in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company. The Company shall respond promptly within a reasonable scope.
8. Access Logs
This website records certain information relating to customers’ devices as access logs.
Access logs are used primarily for the following purposes:
- To identify and resolve issues that occur on the web server.
- To improve the website to enhance user satisfaction.
- To use statistical data regarding website usage in a manner that does not identify individuals.
What Are Access Logs?
Access logs refer to information such as the domain name and IP address used by customers when accessing the website, the files accessed, the type of operating system and browser used, and the date and time of access.
9. Amendments to this Privacy Policy
The Company may review and amend this Privacy Policy as necessary in response to changes in laws and regulations.
Any amended version of this Privacy Policy shall be posted on the Company’s website and made public.
